Mw. dr. C.M.L. (Charlotte) Hille

Charlotte Hille PhD is an international lawyer and political scientist. She is assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam, teaching international public law, military intervention, gender, conflict and international relations. Previously dr Hille worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and at the Ministry of Social Affairs, being responsible for international emancipation policy. Dr Hille is a mediator specialising in gender in peace negotiations.

She published widely on state building and conflict resolution in the Caucasus. She is the author of State Building and Conflict Resolution in the Caucasus and of International Public Law from a Political Perspective (in Dutch).

Dr Hille, as is an expert on Caucasus and is of the view that to resolve this intractable conflict all parties and people should be involved.
