Angela Solano is a professional of social and human sciences with experience in the NGO-CSO sector in Colombia, Argentina and the Netherlands. During her professional experience, Angela Solano has assisted and managed a diverse range of programs and activities directed to promote peace”able” life, equity and human rights from a participatory-community and gender approach. The programs include, among others, conflict resolution in schools; promotion of inclusive contexts; gender sensitisation and mainstreaming. In these programs she has worked with different groups of people who have been affected, directly or indirectly, by conflict. Such as victims of the Colombian conflict, especially children and women; the migrant Spanish-speaking community in the Netherlands, including political exiles; and children whose rights have been violated in different contexts, such as homeless children in Buenos Aires.
